  • The beach by the Hardangerfjord is a beautiful bathing area, ideal for children. The orchard by the cabins has garden furniture as well as a barbecue. There is a large area for ballgames etc.
  • There are fishing possibilities in the fjord all year round! Each cabin has also its own rowing boat. A motor can be hired. We have a place for preparing the fish and a smoking stove. Enjoy the peace and the nature by og fishing in the fjord.

  • The Goldfish Lake – or Skårsvatnet – gets its name from the colour of the fisk, gullfiskvederbuk, put into the lake in 1914. Today they can be found in large numbers. What’s more, they are rather fond of breadcrumbs, so be sure to take some with you when you visit the lake, and you’ll be able to see them more clearly.
  • The incredible Steinsdalsfossen waterfall is especially well-known for its path begin the falls, and is definitely worth a visit.
  • Hardanger Fartøyvernsenter is a national centre for the restoration of wooden boats.
